About BTY
BathTubYoga is a blog. And a videoblog. Get it? Mark and Henry have just moved from London to New York City, where they are trying to live the dream as professional bloggers. BathTubYoga is their blog -- it's about social life on the Internet and the new technology that's become a part of our lives. Read what Mark and Henry have to say, every day, and then watch eps about them a few times a week.

A little bit about me: One year ago I was sitting in a posh office in downtown London, about to start my life in the business world. And then catastrophe struck: I downloaded an MP3 onto my computer at work. Harmless, don't you think? Two days later I found myself fired, fined, and jailed. Collateral damage of the digital age.
So here I am, living to New York City with my childhood friend Henry, making a go of it in the blogosphere. Enjoy the posts, and feel free to drop me a line!

A little bit about me: Hello, Internet! It's me, Henry Scott. You've probably heard of me. If not, here's a primer. I've been a stand-up comedian in London for the past few years, before I realized my true calling: blogging. I didn't like the comedy world much anyway. Too many agents. I hate agents. In November 2005 me and my best buddy Mark packed up for New York City, and here we are, proud parents of BathTubYoga. What else? I like Ginkgo Biloba and Ginseng, and women love me.

The landlord knocks on the door of Mark and Henry's apartment
MR BARTLEBY
Open up boys, it's me, Mr. Bartleby.
MARK
Henry, did you pay this month's rent?
HENRY
No, Mark, considering we don't have any money left. No, I didn't.
MARK
Henry!
Mr. Bartleby walks in.
MR BARTLEBY
It's that time of the month boys, pay up.
HENRY
You heard the man, pay up, Mark.
MARK
What? Mr. Bartleby, why don't you sit down here, make yourself comfortable, it is your place.
MR BARTLEBY
Don't mind if I do, boys. You know boys, I was in the war, and I payed my debt to my country, and you can sure as hell pay your debt to me.
MARK
Well, what if we pay you in free advertising?
HENRY
Yes, you can advertise your apartment complexes on your blog.
MR BARTLEBY
What the hell is a blog?
HENRY
Well, it's an internet site which effectively...
MR BARTLEBY
What the hell is the internet?
MARK
A blog is like a public diary posting, anyone can read it.
MR BARTLEBY
A diary? I know a little something about diaries. I used to keep one myself back in the war. In fact, I have it on me, if you'd like to hear an entry.
Mr. Bartleby begins reading:
June 6th, 1944. The invasion of Normandy. We landed on the beach, it was a bloodbath. Good men were dying left and right. And I turned, and I started running the opposite direction. I deserted some good men that day - Jimmy, Jerry, Snotgrass - I left them all behind. I started running and it was like I couldn't stop. Something inside me came alive that day. I felt something warm coursing through me, and it was then that I realized I had lost complete control of my excretory functions. I ran till I got to the ocean, and ofcource, the ocean slowed me down a little bit, but I didn't stop. And as I tripped over my urine and salt water soaked pants, I just kept ...
Mark and Henry interrupt, unable to endure the story.
MARK and HENRY
Wonderful story, you are a true American hero. Wonderful, wonderful entry.
MR BARTLEBY
Well, if you boys know what it means to keep something like this, forget about this month's rent, I'll let it slide. I won't even advertise on your diary. Hell, it wouldn't be right.
MARK
My goodness, people write about their own personal experiences and most private thoughts and don't publish them to the entire world on the internet? Ha Ha ...
HENRY
Yeah...
MR BARTLEBY
As long as we're here, you want to hear another one?
MR BARTLEBY beings reading again:
June 7th, 1944. I was a little tense, so I relaxed and unwinded with a good stiff Shirley Temple. It was then that I decided to defect to the German side.
